Locally raised bees swarm over a honeycomb.  In beekeeping, the cells on a frame of comb are used to rear brood, as well as to store honey, nectar, and pollen.  These bees are kept by Michael and Jean Higgs, local beekepers in Silver Spring, Maryland.
