Two children return to the village of Jolooga in northern Burkina Faso after collecting water from a nearby pond. Traditionally pastoralist, the Fulani live in temporary villages, often without access to safe water, as they crisscross the Sahel in search of fresh water and green pastures for their livestock. Diarrheal diseases are one of the top causes of child mortality in Burkina Faso.
